Chessboard

The chessboard allegory acts upon the visual puzzle through a duality, a fundamental echoing of the emotional structure of a woman, and the game she confronts. It is a lady´s game, the women that search through freedom, in their words and their acts, in the simple things, that are the most significant… The representation of nature surrounds her: tea grows, fruit falls, a cage breaks and the woman goes forward to victory, the home, in her effort to stay in the game of life, that so many women absorb and encounter. The words… these cryptic sentences, repeatedly lost, make it all secret or covert, locked by sealing wax inside an envelope. Will they be discovered? Secrets, buzzing, yearning, desires and wishes… …and those wishes are also a game to the viewer, searching for a perfect partner to archive the goal, a reading, an interpretation of this puzzle, this infinite game.
